Bourbon Barrel Foods, the maker of gourmet foods that reflect the rich heritage of Kentucky’s Bourbon Country, will open its first retail location January 1st, 2015. At 2710 Frankfort Avenue, Bourbon Barrel Foods will be next to Heine Brothers’ Coffee in the old Jerry Heston’s location.
The retail space will carry all Bourbon Barrel Foods products as well as the products created for Woodford Reserve®. Matt Jamie, founder and owner of Bourbon Barrel Foods, says that he is excited to be a part of the Frankfort Avenue neighborhood and that the new store will be, “platform to expand product line and test new ideas.” A part of this expansion will include participation in the Frankfort Avenue Trolley Hop and other community events.
