Bourbon Pepper Candied Bacon
1 package of bacon
Bourbon Barrel Foods’ Pure Cane Sorghum
Bourbon Smoked Pepper
Preheat oven to 350°F. On a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper, lay out bacon evenly in a single layer. Cook the bacon to the point just before crispy. Remove the bacon and drain off the fat. Spread sorghum generously over the bacon until coated. Sprinkle on each piece small amounts of pepper. Place the bacon back until the oven until crispy, about 5 minutes.
