One part artist, one part chef and all-around awesome, Loreal Gavin, is a sixth-generation farmer, born and raised in Louisiana, eventually moving to live with family in Northern Indiana. Raised by her grandmother, Loreal was taught from a young age her to cook from her soul, that love is an ingredient that’s as important as salt – a lesson apparent in everything she creates. Following her passion for creating, Loreal pursued her culinary degree in nearby Louisville, Kentucky, while working at award-winning restaurants throughout the city.
Now, Loreal is an art-creating, motorcycle-riding, guitar-playing chef who loves farming, recipe developing, culinary arts, baking and pastry. She’s spent over a decade sharing her love of food through creating recipes ‘Blessipes’, hosting events, farming, and publishing her cookbook, ‘The Butcher Babe.’
When Loreal is not cooking at the Monogram Kitchen Studio, creating drool-worthy content for Bourbon Barrel Foods, she is probably starring in a hit T.V. show, or building her Lifestyle Brand. Loreal has made multiple appearances on The Today Show, Rachel Ray, Foodnetwork Star, The Hallmark Channel, and a winner in competition shows like Cutthroat Kitchen.
