Tequila Barrel

This delicious cocktail will have you wishing it was tequila o'clock all of the time!

  • 1 oz Tequila
  • 1 oz ounce vanilla simple syrup, plus extra for glass rim
  • Bourbon Smoked Sugar for glass rim
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • 1 egg white
  • 4 dashes Woodford Reserve Bitters
  • 1 pinch Bourbon Smoked Sea Salt
  • 1 Woodford Reserve Cherry
  • Ice


  1. Pour a little vanilla simple syrup into a saucer.

  2. Dip the rim of a cocktail glass into the syrup, then the Bourbon Smoked Sugar. 

  3. Fill glass with ice. 

  4. In a cocktail shaker, combine the tequila, 1-ounce vanilla simple syrup, lime juice, egg white, bitters and Bourbon Smoked Sea Salt. 

  5. Add some ice and shake well, until frothy.

  6. Strain cocktail into the glass.

  7. Garnish with a Maraschino cherry and serve.
