Buttermilk Fried Chicken
2 Tbsp. Woodford Reserve® Chef’s Blend
12 Thighs and Drumsticks
Buttermilk, enough to cover the chicken in a pan
Bourbon Smoked Salt
Bourbon Smoked Pepper
Peanut Oil
Place the chicken in the buttermilk and Chef’s Blend in Ziploc bags. Let sit overnight.
Whisk together flour, Bourbon Smoked Salt, and Bourbon Smoked Pepper.
Dredge the chicken in the flour mixture and fry in peanut oil. Let drain on paper towels.
