Ingredients
1 box devil food cake mix
1/2 cup oil
3/4 cup water
1 cup sour cream
1 TBS Bourbon Madagascar Vanilla Extract
4 eggs
1/4 tsp Bourbon Smoked Salt
1/4 cup bourbon
Chocolate candy covering
Bourbon smoked sugar
1 cup whipping cream
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 TBS Bourbon Vanilla Sugar
Mix all of the cake ingredients together and pour into cupcake tins. Bake for 18 minutes. Meanwhile, heat up candy covering in the microwave. Place the melted candy covering in a sandwich bag and snip off the end. Draw shapes on parchment paper and sprinkle with bourbon sugar. Let these candy decorations dry for 15 minutes on the parchment.
For the whip cream, whip 1 cup of heavy cream, 1/4 cup sugar, and 1 TBS Bourbon Vanilla Extract. Fill a sandwich bag full of whipped cream and pipe onto the cupcakes. If you want, cut a small hole in the cupcakes and fill with cream and then top with whipped cream!
