Mint Julep Candied Pecans

Ingredients: 

Instructions:

  1. Lay the pecans on a baking sheet with parchment and toast in the oven for roughly 3-5 minutes.
  2. Take the pecans out of the oven and set aside.
  3. In a large sauce pan, melt the butter, sugar, and salt on medium.
  4. Stir in toasted pecans to the butter and Mint Julep Sugar mixture (reserve the parchment-lined baking sheet).
  5. Stir and allow the sugar to dissolve and bubble slightly. Add the bourbon and continue to stir for 3-5 more minutes on medium.
  6. Pour this mixture onto the parchment-lined baking sheet and allow to cool for about an hour. Enjoy!
