Ingredients:
- 2 cups pecan halves
- 1 stick unsalted butter
- 1 cup Mint Julep Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Bourbon Smoked Salt
- 1/2 cup bourbon Preheat your oven to 400.
Instructions:
- Lay the pecans on a baking sheet with parchment and toast in the oven for roughly 3-5 minutes.
- Take the pecans out of the oven and set aside.
- In a large sauce pan, melt the butter, sugar, and salt on medium.
- Stir in toasted pecans to the butter and Mint Julep Sugar mixture (reserve the parchment-lined baking sheet).
- Stir and allow the sugar to dissolve and bubble slightly. Add the bourbon and continue to stir for 3-5 more minutes on medium.
- Pour this mixture onto the parchment-lined baking sheet and allow to cool for about an hour. Enjoy!
