The Slapping Incident is a classic southern drink named after a historical incident involving Gen. Patton. This cocktail incorporates the distinct flavor of Pure Cane Sorghum and our Bourbon Smoked Spices.
2 1/2 Tbsp. Woodford Reserve® bourbon
1 1/2 Tbsp. lime juice
1 Tbsp. Fernet-Branca
1 Tbsp. Pure Cane Sorghum
1 1/2 tsp. Faretti Biscotti Famosi
4 ice cubes
tonic water
pinch of Bourbon Smoked Salt
pinch of Bourbon Smoked Pepper
Stir together bourbon, lime juice, Fernet-Branca, Pure Cane Sorghum, and Faretti Biscotti Famosi in a 10-oz. glass. Add ice, and top with tonic. Stir in Bourbon Smoked Salt and Pepper.
