Kentucky Bourbon Sour
Ingredients
Vanilla Simple Syrup

- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup water
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract

Instructions
1. In a small saucepan, combine the sugar, water, and vanilla extract. Bring to a boil and stir until sugar is dissolved. Allow the vanilla syrup to cool.
2. combine all cocktail ingredients except the bourbon cherry and orange in a cocktail shaker with one ounce of the vanilla simple syrup. Add ice and shake vigorously to emulsify and froth egg white. Strain and serve over fresh ice in a cocktail glass. Garnish with a Woodford Reserve® Bourbon Cherry and an orange slice.
Leftover bourbon vanilla simple syrup keeps in the refrigerator for one month in an airtight container or jar. Use in cocktails, iced tea, iced coffee, lemonade and more.
