Matt's French Press Coffee:
French press coffee, also known as press pot coffee or plunger pot coffee, is a classic and easy way to brew coffee. It's a great method for those who want to enjoy a full-bodied and flavorful cup of coffee without having to go through the brewing process.
Ingredients:
- 3 scoops, course ground Bourbon Barrel Aged Coffee - Matt likes it strong!
- 12 oz., hot water that's just off the boil.
Method:
Pour the hot water over the coffee grounds and stir gently to ensure that all of the grounds are fully saturated. Allow the coffee to steep for four minutes. During this time, the coffee will release its flavors and aromas.
After four minutes, press down on the plunger to separate the coffee grounds from the liquid. Pour the freshly brewed coffee into your favorite mug and enjoy! French press coffee is best enjoyed immediately, as it can quickly become bitter if left to sit for too long.
