Bourbon Barrel Buttermilk Dressing

We have taken the traditional buttermilk and added a fresh spin to create our own Bourbon Barrel Buttermilk. Our resident chief has created a prefect flavor profile using everyday household items and some of our delicious Bourbon Barrel Foods smoked spices. Buttermilk is known and loved for centuries for its sour taste. Originally, buttermilk was the liquid left behind after churning butter out of cream. We have incorporated Dijon Mustard to achieve that perfect zip we all enjoy from our favorite buttermilk recipes.

The bourbon smoked salt and pepper take this recipe to the next level by infusing the flavors with something unexpected. The Bourbon smoked salt and pepper allow for the perfect a touch of a bourbon smokiness and combination of the smoked spices with the creaminess of the mayonnaise creates a decadent flavor profile. We love using this recipe on spring salads and dipping vegetables. Some really great uses for our Buttermilk are spreading this condiment on fish or chicken before the baking process. The combination of ingredients in combination with the mayonnaise make a perfectly tender piece of meat. Be a little funky and use this sauce on pizza. Any way you use our buttermilk recipe you will be begging for more.

This delicious dressing is perfect to make a head of time to allow all of the flavors to open up even further. We recommend refrigerating any extra design and discarding after one week.
