Oh now, this one gets us excited! Bourbon Smoked Sugar and basil transform this classic minty beachside drink. Using Bourbon Smoked Sugar and blackberries are the perfect flavor combination. The Bourbon Smoked Sugar is a raw Demerara sugar that has been slow smoked with bourbon barrel wood. The ensuing flavors and aromas are incredible and add another dimension to foods both savory and sweet. Raw sugar crystals take their time dissolving in the cold drink making for bursts of sweetness with each sip. In addition to the blackberries and smoked sugar crystals, the basil and the Woodford Reserve Mint Julep Simple Syrup make for the perfect amount of minty fresh flavor to balance out this rum cocktail.
