Goals:

  • Inform Brown-Forman Brand Ambassador team of Bourbon Barrel Foods partnership & product range
  • Inspire use in cocktails through demonstration of original recipes
  • Educate on co-branded product creation process and integration of key BF figures (e.g., ET Tecosky, Jackie Zykan, etc.)
  • Offer opportunities for product integration & collaboration on future events

 

Agenda:

2:30PM: Kick off meeting with brief introduction of participants, agenda review, and technical housekeeping (5 mins -Jordan)

 

2:35PM: Introduction of BF & BBF  (10 mins -Jordan, Caroline, Matt)

Jordan to pose topics/questions below to Caroline and Matt

  • When & how partnership began; which products were our first
  • Overview of line extensions & expansions
  • Goals/benefits of co-branded products to BBF and BF – 
  • Highlight where these products have been featured in the past

 

2:45PM: Seasonal Cocktail Creation & Explanation (10 mins – Emily & Lauren)

E & L to create cocktails in this order, introducing the co-branded products used

  • Gentleman Jack Sour
  • Rye Tai
  • Autumn on the Ave

 

2:55PM: Product tasting & (15 mins – Jordan, Caroline, Matt)

Matt to lead tasting of each product in the following order and speak briefly to its “creation story”; Jordan to prompt each product

  • Gentleman Jack® Whiskey Sour Mix
  • Jack Daniels® Bitters
  • Woodford Reserve® Peach Bitters

 Featured Cocktail Recipes

Gentleman Jack Sour

2 oz Gentleman Jack® Whiskey 

2 oz Gentleman Jack® Whiskey Sour Cocktail Mixer

4 dashes Jack Daniels® Tennessee  Cocktail Bitters

1 Egg White

 

  • Combine all ingredients in cocktail shaker
  • Dry shake, add ice 
  • Shake and strain over fresh ice in a Collins glass
  • Garnish with a flag of orange slice and cherry
Autumn on the Ave

2 oz Old Forester Signature

.5 oz Carpano Classico

.5 oz Cointreau 

3 dashes Old Forester® Hummingbird Bitters

3 dashes Old Forester® Bohemian Bitters

 

  • Combine all ingredients in mixing crystal 
  • Add ice and stir, strain into Coupe
  • Garnish with Cointreau soaked persimmon and expressed orange oil
Rye Tai

2 oz Woodford Reserve® Rye

2.5 oz fresh pineapple juice 

1 slice of fresh jalapeño

4 dashes Woodford Reserve® Peach Bitters

1 Woodford Reserve® Bourbon Cherry, garnish

 

  • Combine whiskey, bitters, and jalapeño in mixing glass and muddle
  • Add juice and ice, shake, and strain over fresh ice in a Collins glass
  • Garnish with a skewer of grilled pineapple, jalapeño, and Woodford Reserve® Bourbon Cherries
